In the daytime, you can enjoy touring remote islands and marine sports...
At night, it serves as a convenient starting point for walking to the dining district.
There is CARA-YA

Beautiful wooden ceiling and lighting
Couple cooking in the kitchen

You can buy ingredients from the island and enjoy a meal with your family or as a couple at your accommodation while taking in the view of Ishigaki's old town. The owner lives next door, so please feel free to ask any questions or for recommendations.

In order to preserve the old townscape of Ishigaki City, the exterior features a red tiled roof and the interior is made of natural wood, creating a calm atmosphere.

In Ishigaki, a house with a red tiled roof is called "karaya," which is the origin of the shop name CARA-YA.

In Spanish and Portuguese, CARA also means "expensive" or "dear."

We named it CARA-YA with the same feelings we have for our customers.
